So, here are some of the things I'd really love to do or happen this year.
#1. Keep temper in check.
So far, so good. I don't have anger management issues but some people—the kinds that I don't want rubbing me in any way at all—just rub me the wrong way. Hopefully, I can get away with avoiding them or keeping contact with them to a minimum. This is the best way to keep this resolution, I think.
#2. Spend less time in front of computer/on the Internet.
I already work eight hours a day in front of a computer, I really don't need to waste five more hours each day watching funny cat videos on YouTube or stalking my favorite celebrities. Best spend the time after work resting if there's nothing important to do.
My Totoros don't want me using the computer all the time too.
#3. Catch up on my reading.
There are books in my bookshelf that I bought about four or so years ago that I haven't yet read. I really should start on them before getting more books for my Kindle.
The last time I had the urge to randomly organize my books, I found a colony of small, red ants living behind my Harry Potter collection. I think they've been living there for long since they've also started living between the pages of the books. I almost had a heart attack when I saw them.
#4. Spend less, save more.
Not that I spend more these day. I just have this difficulty of keeping track of what money I have. Hopefully, I'll be more sensible of where I put my money starting this year.
Hmm, yeah, save more. Halo-halo and fries, anyone?
That's it—a very short list. How about you? What are your New Year's resolutions? Not to be a downer or something, but I don't think many people are able to follow through their resolutions. But hey, at least we try. If they are not doable, better try next year, yeah?
